Information We Process
GetHiredAI may process account information such as your email address, CV or resume content that you upload or save, job descriptions and application context that you provide or open through supported job pages, generated outputs such as optimized CVs, cover letters, and related application materials, and limited technical information required to operate the product securely. When you use the Chrome extension, the extension may read the visible job title, company name, and job description from supported job pages and may store local session state and preferences inside Chrome storage so the extension can remain connected and usable across sessions.
How We Use Information
We use processed information to authenticate users, let users manage saved CVs, generate and improve application materials, open optimization workflows, support extension login and callback flows, maintain session continuity, secure the service, investigate errors, and provide product support. We do not process user data for unrelated advertising purposes. The Chrome extension uses the current page only to extract job context needed to launch an optimization flow requested by the user.
Chrome Extension Data Practices
The GetHiredAI Chrome extension is designed to support one core purpose: turning supported job pages into application optimization workflows inside GetHiredAI. To do so, it uses activeTab, scripting, storage, and limited host permissions for supported job platforms and GetHiredAI domains. The extension does not download or execute remote JavaScript or Wasm as extension code. Extension logic is packaged locally. The extension communicates over HTTPS with GetHiredAI services for authentication, saved CV retrieval, and optimization flows.
Sharing and Service Providers
GetHiredAI may rely on carefully selected infrastructure and service providers to operate authentication, storage, hosting, analytics, and AI generation features. These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service on our behalf or to fulfill a user-requested workflow. We do not sell personal data. We do not share user data with third parties for purposes unrelated to the core functionality of GetHiredAI.
Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain saved user content, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our terms. Local extension session data stored in Chrome may remain available until the user signs out, clears extension storage, or removes the extension.
User Controls and Rights
Users can update saved CV content, remove saved CVs, sign out of the Chrome extension, and delete or change application materials within the product where those controls are available. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain personal information. Requests can be made through the support or contact channels made available by GetHiredAI.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure. No system is perfectly secure, but we design the product to limit unnecessary data exposure and to keep sensitive workflows tied to authenticated user actions.
